Amazing with my milk allergy, I've never had a restaurant cater to my with so much respect and care! The first more fancy restaurant I've ever eaten at and I've come back again and again because of their attention to detail. The staff are all amazing. Their food is absolutely insane, even if I choose the vegan options it's so delicious and creamy I actually worry it has milk in (a good thing I've never got sick) lol. Also order a Bloody Mary, you won't regret it trust me.
We ate early before attending a concert at Guildhall. It was a pleasant 15 minute walk from the Guildhall area, we had a stroll round the shops at Gunwharf Quays first then made our way to the restaurant. The menu is interesting and there were several different dishes we could have chosen. Plumping to share the beetroot terrine and the cheese souffle - both were delicious, we then had the chateaubriand - it was cooked beautifully, the french fries were crisp. To finish we went for the pistachio souffle (yes double souffle) and a cheese board. Yum yum yum. Will be back next time we are in Portsmouth.
This is a restaurant where great food is served on plates at the right temperature. The onion soup was particularly delicious, and the chips and salad were also good. I stayed in Portsmouth for three weeks and had the most satisfying meal. If you are a foreigner and tired of British food, this is the place you should come.
Such a nice place to have a relaxing meal. Interesting items on the menu and great tasting food. Family friendly with kids meals and can do some of the a la carte into kids meals. Many thanks!
Came to Blanc for a lunch during the week, the menu is clear with protein types grouped, the food was very tasty, we had a few souffle, soup to start, and a selection of meat, fish and veggie mains. Only one issue is they forgot to bring me my pudding
Overall experience was great. Nice place, friendly staff, good food and drink. However, the atmosphere was a bit too noisy if you would like to have a peaceful and quiet dinner. It’s recommended to make table reservation in advance especially on weekends.
Had an experience day bought for us so you have to order from a set menu... However it's still absolutely fantastic food with good variety. Great service as well and friendly staff. Will be coming back
The food was delicious, the dessert absolutely phenomenal, and the weather that day couldn’t have been better. Plus, the prices were really reasonable definitely worth it.
